Sol Caribbean Tours, S.A. (hereinafter, “Solwayscuba” or “Us”) values its users and is committed to protecting their privacy. To meet this commitment, Solwayscuba has developed this privacy policy (hereinafter, the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”), which describes the practices of Solwayscuba with regard to the collection, use, holding and sharing of personal information gathered, in observance of applicable legislation.
When you use Solwayscuba services, whether to conduct searches, sign up to receive offers and news or contract a service through any of its sales channels – call centre, website (hereinafter, the “Website”), you provide us with information. To be able to make tourism reservations on Solwayscuba, you must provide certain personal information (hereinafter, “Personal Information”), which includes name and surnames, identity document number or valid identification and physical contact information (such as telephone number, address or email address). In order to formalise tourism reservations, you must also provide information about your debit or credit card (such as the credit card number, security code, the name on the card and the expiry date). At its sole discretion, Solwayscuba may confirm the Personal Information provided by contacting public bodies, specialist companies or risk centres, for which you expressly give your authorisation. The information that Solwayscuba obtains from these bodies will be treated confidentially.

You will always be able to choose not to provide any information, but in general certain information about you is needed for purchases or to carry out any transactions on Solwayscuba. If you choose not to provide certain information, you may be unable to enter into a contract with us.

If you make a reservation on behalf of a third party, you must first obtain the party’s consent before providing said party’s Personal Information. If said third party is a minor according to applicable legislation, you must declare that you have sufficient powers to provide said Personal Information and accept this Privacy Policy.

You may also provide opinions, comments and suggestions by voluntarily taking part in surveys and/or by answering questions sent by email or from the Website. In this case, in order to provide other users with real testimonies about experiences relating to services, you accept and agree that any Opinions that you send may be published by Us on the Website, or on other Sites with which Solwayscuba has contractual relations. In such cases, you may be identified by your full name and/or user name, photo, comment and nationality. These messages may contain (but are not limited to) information on services by Solwayscuba, as well as contact details of suppliers that might help with your travel experience at destination.

Contacting you for customer service purposes, to carry out consumption and preference surveys, statistics or analyses, notify you by email of special offers and of products and services related to trips that may be of interest to you, unless you wish not to (see 5.1 Opt-out policy further below).

In order to offer better services and provide its Users with information relating to their preferences, Solwayscuba may also carry out internal studies on users’ interests, behaviours and demographics, in order to gain a better understanding of their needs and interests, improve our commercial and promotional initiatives, personalise their content, presentation and services, and show advertising, promotions or banners of interest to our users.

Additionally, Solwayscuba uses the information from debit or credit cards (such as cardholder name, card number and expiry date) solely for the purpose of completing travel reservations made by you, including sending your details to the end suppliers of services to manage your reservations and/or purchase requests.

3. Who do we share information with?

You give your unequivocal consent for Solwayscuba to share the relevant Personal Information of its users with suppliers for managing reservations and/or purchase requests, such as airlines, hotels, tourism businesses that provide services at destination, vehicle rental companies, wholesalers, and other providers of products and services that you might contract through our Website. Additionally, you agree to share your Personal Information with suppliers that provide services for Solwayscuba, including commercial analytics, customer services, marketing and fraud prevention.

4. Where do we store and how do we protect the information collected?
