The traditional Meliá Cuba Golf Cup (October 14–17) is a golf event that invites players to enjoy an 18-hole experience on Cuba’s finest green. It takes place at the Varadero Golf Club, a unique seaside course with over 60 hectares of playing areas, native vegetation, and natural lagoons.
Choose your stay: Meliá Las Américas, host of the event since its first edition, an all-inclusive beachfront resort for adults only (+18); or Meliá Varadero, ideal for families, offering golf experiences for all ages.

October 15, 2026
• 6:30-7:00 AM Practice on the Driving Range, Varadero Golf Club
• 8:00 AM Practice Round, Varadero Golf Club
• 3:00 PM – Long Drive Tournament. Golfers staying at both hotels take part, along with beginners and children from Meliá Varadero.

October 16, 2026
• 6:30 AM Practice on the Driving Range, Varadero Golf Club
• 7:30 AM First round of the Strokeplay or Stableford tournament, Varadero Golf Club

October 17, 2026
• 6:30 a.m. Practice at the Driving Range, Varadero Golf Club
• 7:30 a.m. Second round of the Strokeplay or Stableford tournament, Varadero Golf Club
• 8:30 p.m. Awards Dinner

October 18, 2026
• Shared departure transfer from Varadero Hotel to Havana International Airport. (collective tourist bus).**

***Registration Fee Includes: official participation, course access, green fees, event logistics, snacks, golf cart during competition rounds (Not included for the Practice Round or Par 3 Tournament), welcome kit (cap and pullover), and awards dinner.

PARTICIPANTS
• All amateur golfers are eligible to participate.
• Players must present their handicap endorsed by their club.
• Players with a handicap of 26 or less will be admitted for men, and a handicap of 36 or less for women.

PRIZES
• First and second place in each category will receive trophies.
• The best men's and women's gross scores will receive trophies.
Additionally, awards will be given:
- Closest to the pin.
- Longest drive for men.
- Longest drive for women.
- Straightest drive.

Please read the following conditions carefully before continuing. By agreeing to these terms, you signify that you have read and understood all the terms and conditions related to the policies outlined.

Your credit card will be debited after your reservation is made for the amount indicated at the time of payment. The charge will be made in USD or EUR, depending on the currency selected, to the benefit of the merchant handling the payment, which you will be notified of at the end of the purchase process.

Modifications to the package program
The order of services in a package program can be modified depending on our clients' needs, as long as the proposed package price remains unchanged.

Reservations
Passport or ID must be presented at check-in for both hotels and flights for packages that include this product.

We offer two types of packages: fixed and dynamic.

Fixed packages offer only one hotel option per destination, depending on the package.

Dynamic packages offer multiple hotel options or combinations depending on the package and destination. At the time of purchase, only the options available for the travel date and passenger combination chosen by the customer will be displayed.

Payments - Cancellations - Refunds
Payments must be made in advance. Your credit card will be debited within 24 hours of confirming your reservation. The charge will be in USD or EUR, depending on the selected payment currency. The total charge includes the services explicitly described in the package, as well as taxes. Additional charges not described, such as phone calls, parking, meals not described in the package, etc., will be covered by the customer directly with the supplier.

If the customer needs to change or cancel their travel plans, it is their responsibility to notify Solways in writing of such changes. Tickets are subject to penalties, with restrictions of up to 100% non-refundable and exchangeable. Once payment has been made for your reservation, the following cancellation policy will apply:

- If you cancel 5 days before your reservation, Solways will charge a USD 15.00 administrative fee to the total amount paid for your reservation. During peak season (December 22 - January 3), other cancellation policies apply. For more information, please contact Solways Cuba directly.
- If you cancel less than 5 days before your reservation, you will be charged a 100% penalty. Only cancellations due to force majeure will be exempt from this penalty.
- No-shows will be charged a 100% penalty.

Refunds will only be issued to the person who purchased the service, who must provide the original reservation/payment documents.

Complaints
If you are not satisfied with any of the services received, please send your complaint to [email protected]. Once received:
- Solways Cuba will send the information received to the service provider for review.
- Once the necessary information has been received from the provider, Solways Cuba will inform the customer of its decision.
